NCLEX PREP ~ Gateway to your nursing career

What is NCLEX? ==> NCLEX Defined  The Official NCLEX site: NCSBN.ORG

Congratulations! You have made it through nursing school. You have your diploma, or you have graduated with your 2 or 4 year program. Now you want to go to work! One last hurdle the NCLEX. You may be an A+ nursing student but most nurses need one last big study push to pass the NCLEX! If you have tried and failed don't be discouraged you are not alone. There are many books, tapes, CD, classes and live lecture series available. Choose the one that is right for you and your style of learning, lifestyle and schedule.

Traditional lecture series are great if you have the time, usually given over two or three days; students are immersed in a intense Nursing Review with the emphasis on passing the NCLEX. The advantage is personal interaction with knowledgeable professors who can answer questions and inform you of latest trends in NCLEX testing.

Next best thing is a lecture series on tape or disk - for people that can't find the time for three continuous days to attend a live lecture an audio or DVD lecture allows you to take in the information at your own pace.

Books and practice test may be all you need! Compleate study of all the nursing subjects with attention to the special 'bent' of the NCLEX is a must for any successful NCLEX preparation course. All good lecture courses include these additional study materials.

NCLEX for Dummies: Nothing difficult is ever easy! These type of schemes don't have much of a track record. Don't waste your money. Accept the fact: You will need from 2 weeks to a month of study to properly prepare to pass the NCLEX.

Schedule your NCLEX test online: PearsonVue First time candidates receive a date approximately 30 days out, repeat candidates 45 days out - you need to have your study plan in place to work with your NCLEX test date!
